Weather en route
Hazards a flight meets at its time and level
Overview
Weather en route works out which hazards a flight actually meets: thunderstorms, turbulence, icing, volcanic ash, tropical cyclones and more, evaluated at the flight's own time and level rather than as a static map. Pilot reports are returned alongside the forecasts, so an application can weigh what is predicted against what crews are already seeing.
Features
- Hazards sampled along the route at the flight's level
- Thunderstorm, turbulence, icing, ash and cyclone data
- Pilot reports returned with the forecasts
- Time-aware, so the answer matches the plan
